Here is a list of all the canon characters available for members to play at The Road Goes Ever On. This list is by no means comprehensive however, and if there is a character from either the Lord of the Rings Trilogy books or movies that you want to play just let the staff know and it'll most likely be okay!
Legend:
- Character Name = Open
Character Name = Taken- Character Name = Reserved
If you would like to reserve a character then go ahead and post your claim in this thread and we'll make sure to reserve your choice. However, if a character is open feel free to make the application without any prior reserve. Keep in mind though that character reserves will be on a first-come-first-serve basis, so even if you've been working on a canon character for a week and someone posts a claim or WIP app before you, they'll get the character instead. We apologize if this happens, but it's the only way we can be fair to everyone.
Reserves last a week, after which you can choose to extend the reserve for an additional week. If an app is still not up by then we'll open up the character for everyone and give someone else a chance to claim them, though if there is no additional interest you are still free to hold the reserve.
